This is my second concept where I will have one 6x2.3m container normally on the ground and one 6x2.3m standing on its end attached to the side corner of the first container. I will have a deck on the roof that is accessed via the master bedroom that resides in the top half of the up ended container. With the bathroom below this and the kitchen/dining lounge in the normally orientated container.

Interior Design

This is my first concept for a container glamping retreat. The layout is created with two 6m x 2.3m containers laid side by side length ways, giving it dimensions of 6m x 4.6m. For the exterior, I have the raw container as the outer walls and a concrete tile roof for durability and a contrast to the metal container. The connection between the roof and container will be vertical slat radiata pine that will match the deck. Inside there will be an open plan kitchen/dining connected to a lounge, with a master bedroom and en suite of of this. I will use a second hand perfect condition container and I will mount solar panels on the roof so that it can be of grid when there is enough sun to power it.
