This is the finished floor plan and exterior for my second concept. I have added a small extension off the top of the lying down container which connects to the top half of the container standing on its end. This just made sense and was necessary for this concept to work as if I hadn't of added it there wouldn't have been room upstairs for the bedroom which was the room that made most sense to be up there. For the stairs I spent much time researching to find out and then figure out how they would work with the space and with the laws around them. I have again put solar panels on the roof for sustainable power and will use recycled radiata pine for the additional cladding, keeping as much of the raw container as possible. The lounge is down stairs in the first main, area along with the kitchen/dining area all open plan. In the connecting container I have the bathroom on the ground floor with stairs leading up to the second floor master bedroom. This in turn leads out to a deck on the remaining roof of the lying down container. I have also again used concrete tiles for the roof they will also be reused to keep with the sustainable theme of the dwelling.
